I have another doubt on how to install the apps.as my handset is missing the Android Market icon in my mobile. So i downloaded to my pc and then copied to my mobile. This '7c02815a-e245-102d-a194-6ec07c99d928.apk' file for blue tooth file transfer and using datacable i copied that file in my video folder (for self knowing folder i pasted) now i dont see that file in my mobile video folder. So how will i install???? Plz guide me yaar!!!!there are no icons like 'Android Market', 'Installer Application', or 'Application Installer' etc.I am using Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 mini pro and 1.6 firmware.Thanks in advance. Now launch slide me application and search for a file explorer application. After installing a file explorer application, you can browse to applications that you have added to the SD card. And on tapping applications, it will get installed. Do the following1. Go to settings Applications and check Unknown Sources option2. Rename that file to some sensible name like 'Bluetooth File Transfer.apk'3.
Now add this application to your SD card in a folder named software.4. There is an application named Application Installer marked with a brown crate icon. This application comes installed with the phone.5. Launch the application installer and it will list all apk files on your SD card.6.
Find ‘bluetooth file transfer.apk’ file from the list and tap on it. This will give you installation options.Go to that can provide you an application, which can be used as a substitute to Android Market. Ok do it like thisCopy the url and paste it in your phones browser. This will download an application. Once the application is downloaded completely, you will get a notification, tap on the notification and tap on the application from the browser download list. Now launch slide me application and search for a file explorer application.
